Business Director, leading a wonderful team across a mix of clients with both performance and brand objectives. Together, we partner closely with each client to deliver smart, strategic outcomes, while also pushing the boundaries of media channels and platforms, ensuring we not only stand out in market but also drive meaningful impact, ultimately connecting consumers with each brand.

DiDi's latest campaign, particularly across outdoor, has been a fun and relatable response to a competitive market. Their play on timely moments, paired with a strong value proposition, makes it a clever and compelling. I'm keen to see where they take it next. I know it got me, I downloaded the app straight away.

First and foremost, itโs the people. The team I work with day-to-day, the wider Ryval crew, our clients, and publishers all make coming to work genuinely enjoyable. Even on the longer days, itโs their support and energy that make it worthwhile. The industry as a whole has done a great job of creating a welcoming, collaborative environment, though equally challenging to ensure there is continual growth and opportunities to learn, and that makes all the difference.

Most days start with an episode of of sorts from Shameless Media, and if itโs not that, Iโm catching up on the back catalogue of The Diary of a CEO or The Rewatchables. On the commute to and from work, those fill the time nicely. At home, Dept. Q is the current Netflix watch, and Friends is always in the background, my go to comfort show.

TikTok as a search function is something Iโve been using more and more, for everything from recipes to holiday packing tips. I havenโt relied on it for anything too serious yet, but itโs fascinating to see how the platform is evolving, and how brands are starting to engage, despite some preconceived ideas about its audience. Will it remain a space dominated by younger users, or start to broaden its reach? Either way, itโll be interesting to watch how brands adapt their presence in response to changing search behaviours as well as changes to other social platforms.
